What can I expect at my first visit?

At your first visit, you can expect a comprehensive New Patient Exam that lasts about 30 minutes. This includes a review of your medical history, a physical examination, and your first adjustment. Dr. Mason treats the whole body, addressing not just the area of pain but performing full spinal manipulation unless otherwise advised. At the end of the exam, Dr. Mason may show you some at-home stretches or provide a handout to aid in your recovery.

How much will my first visit cost? What about future visits?

Your first visit, including the New Patient Exam and your first adjustment, is $75. Future visits for established patients cost $45 and include full spine treatment.

My previous chiropractor wanted to see me 3x/week for 4 months. Is this standard? How many adjustments will I need?

After your first adjustment, Dr. Mason will have a better idea of the care you need. Typically, the first month shows the most significant changes in symptoms. Our goal is to help your body hold the adjustment as soon as possible, reducing the need for frequent visits. Usually, Dr. Mason likes to see patients twice in the first week. If you improve after the second visit, your next appointment will be scheduled for about 10 days to two weeks later.

Does my exam include X-rays?

We do not provide X-rays in our office, but we can refer you to a trusted local imaging provider if necessary. If you have previous X-rays, please forward the results to us or bring a copy to your appointment.

Do you take my insurance?

We do not directly accept insurance, but we can work with your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover the costs. Many of our patients find this approach offers more control and flexibility over their healthcare spending. If you have questions about payment options, please call our office.

Yes, it is generally safe to receive chiropractic care during pregnancy. Dr. Mason is experienced in providing gentle and effective care for pregnant patients, ensuring both your comfort and safety.

I’ve been in an auto accident. Can you help?

How old does my child need to be before receiving care?
